Early this month GPRS was brought out to Quarryville, PA to locate unmarked graves so a long family line could be tracked back up to 200 hundred years or more. The cemetery had been on a family farm with chickens and ponies roaming throughout, so the history and accounts of the cemetery was less than precise. As GPRS marked out it's findings, we'll just say that the family tree was much more like a red wood or giant sequoia than a small, country size apple tree. Once all the graves were marked out, the invested family member was overwhelmed, yet thankful, with the number of family members at the site.

The cemetery mapping application of GPR is probably one of the least used applications in our work; however, its not worth any less than the others. The quality of work is accurate because of the size of the images, especially when caskets are used. If interested in cemetery mapping, do not be afraid to call us in the Greater Philadelphia Area for any time of grave site work.
