Rebar Analysis in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

In late March and early April, GPRS was sent to identify the steel reinforcing in multiple columns and walls before a complete building remodel that had been vacant since the 90's. Just this month, we were called back to finish the job and to see how our performance fared. We still had approximately 20 locations to finish-from beams and girders to columns in the basement corner. Getting in small and dark spaces seemed to be the least of our worries. However, after 2 days, we were able to fully complete the structural analysis for the job's engineers. 

In the picture, you'll see were the concrete had been chipped away to identify rebar size. Our yellow lines are what was marked before chipping began. If you are interested in rebar analysis, this is one of our most precise applications and we would be glad to assist you. However, one limitation is that we cannot identify rebar size, just path.
