GPRS Locates Reinforcing Prior to Core Drilling

Our client had called Ground Penetrating Radar System to scan a concrete wall for reinforcing prior to core drilling in Philadelphia, PA. The client was extending a section of the roof and needed to core drill for utility access. The goal for GPRS was to locate and provide site markings of the rebar within the wall. The client had contacted the project manager for the Eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Southern New Jersey area, Grant McGuigan. By using our Mini XT GPR, we were able to provide a clear layout of the reinforcing marked on the side of the building.

GPRS uses a combination of different equipment in order to maximize all utility location. By using these tools, we can provide an accurate layout of reinforcing and utilities on site before the client drills or saw cuts. For any concrete scanning and utilities locating, call Grant McGuigan at (484)280-2234 or email at grant.mcguigan@gprsinc.com.
