Rebar Locating with GPR

A university in Philadelphia was making some updates to one of their buildings, and among these renovations is an entirely new elevated floor. Structural engineers decided that they could not have the integrity of the building compromised when anchoring the brackets to the walls and pillars; so the contractor decided to call GPRS to locate the rebar prior to drilling. Daniel Slachta of Southern New Jersey and the Tri State area responded to the call, and scanned the areas for electrical conduits, indicating the rebar that would be travelling through the areas to be anchored to.
